It is very easy to think “it won’t happen to me”, or to think that we are perfectly capable of dealing with any problems that arise.

The reality though is that sometimes it can happen to us.

Sometimes we could deal with the problem if we could get to speak to the right person, but we get stuck at the call centre.

Sometimes it could be a problem that we would never have expected, and we just don’t know what to do for the best.

One reason that membership of an organisation like ADINJC is so important is that it is similar to an insurance policy.

We hope it won’t happen, we don’t expect it to happen, but if it does happen, it’s good to know that help is available.

ADINJC help members on a weekly, if not daily basis, they are in regular contact with the senior managers at DVSA, so whether it is a major dispute, or an irritating inconvenience that you just can’t get them to sort out, ADINJC can get direct contact with the people in a position to listen to your problem.

ADINJC membership also allows you to purchase Professional Indemnity Insurance to a value of £5 million, and Public Liability Insurance to a value of £10 million.

This is also an extremely valuable safeguard, it provides protection just in case we do make a mistake, but it is also there to provide protection just in case we are accused of something.

We may not have done anything wrong, but if someone decides to accuse us of something, it can potentially have serious consequences in trying to defend ourselves and protect our reputation and the reputation and therefore the viability of our business.

Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance is not only there to protect us in case we do make a mistake, it is also there to protect us, and our business, if we are accused of doing something wrong.
